    Bloomer Community Fair

    Tractor pull on last Saturday in July. Fair first full weekend in August. Open daily at noon. Music, carnival, 4-H and FFA exhibits, merchant displays, demo derbies and more. Parade on Sunday at 12:30pm on Main Street. Located at the Bloomer Fairgrounds on 9th Ave. 715-568-3339.

    Wild Edibles

    6:30 - 8:30 pm at Beaver Creek Reserve, S1 Cty Road K, Fall Creek. We'll take a hike and look for some common, easily-identified, wild edible plants. We'll nibble a few things as we hike, and then sample a cooked green and a wild tea or two!  A list of some plants to try and their use will be provided. Come and join us for a taste of summer from the wild! Registration and payment required by July 29. Friends $5 Nonmembers $8

There will be guided tours of the butterfly house and games and crafts for the kids!     Paint-a- Palooza at The Heyde Center for the Arts

    August 6, August 13, September 17. 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Heyde Center for the Arts, 3 South High Street, Chippewa Falls. The Heyde Center is partnering with the Valley Art Association to offer different types of classes for an art experience you will not forget. Register early as class sizes are limited to 12 people!
