      The Jig's Up! Ice Fishing Contest

      The View on Lake Wissota, 17779 Co Hwy X, Chippewa Falls. Win a $45,000 Ford Truck if you catch and register the tagged fish!  Over $30,000 in cash and prizes including a 2015 Ice Castle Scout.  Prizes awarded, to the top 25 fish by weight and every 5th place thereafter to 300th place so even a small fish can win big!  Each participant may register one fish per ticket; tickets are $25 with no limit on the number of tickets an individual can purchase.  Raffle prizes include a 2015 Polaris Sportsman 4-wheeler, raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20!  Prizes for the top fish by weight in each category: northern, walleye, bass, and pan fish. All state regulations and bag limits apply and no person may bring in more than the legal limit of fish allowed, which for this contest includes northern, walleye, pan fish (perch, bluegills, crappies), and bass.

      June 6 through August 16, 2015 Chippewa Falls Bernard F. Willi Municipal Pool will be open. Located across from Irvine Park this public outdoor pool has a zero depth area with small fountains and dumping buckets for younger children and a deeper area, reaching a maximum depth of 5 feet, and a 256 ft. linear slide that empties into the pool. There is a minimal entrance fee per person to help maintain the pool. You will find it to be a great place to swim on a hot summer day. Hours: M-F 12-6, Sa/ Su 1-6pm 715-726-2733 in season.

      Irvine Park Petting Zoo

      Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day Weekend (August 30, 2015 last day), Daily 10am-6pm. The Petting Zoo has a variety of friendly farm animals including: pigs, goats, sheep, donkeys, rabbits, baby chicks, a pony, and an iguana. Kids are invited to explore the Petting Zoo and learn about the animals through touch and play. Admission to the petting zoo is free but donations are appreciated.Irvine Park summer hours will be 7:00am to dark. Irvine Park offers a variety of activities and sports for people of all ages. There are horseshoe pits, picnic grounds, hiking trails, playgrounds, bird watching, and a sand volleyball court.
