      4:30   6:30 p.m.,  Artist Reception - Thursday, May 21st from 4:30   6:30 p.m.at the Heyde Center For the Arts, 3 South High Street, Chippewa Falls. Exhibit opens Wednesday, May 20 and runs until Friday, May 29th.Transition into Perception features the artwork of the students of the Chippewa Falls High School AP Studio Art Class. No cost to the public. Donations to the Heyde Center appreciated.

      Ringelspiel Days

      The celebration includes a carnival, parade, bands, co-ed softball tournament, car show, food and much more.  Located at Lotz Park in Boyd.  Parade is on Sunday at 1pm at Lotz Park.  For more information call 715-667-3420.

      Oz Run

      The Oz Run is at the Northern Wisconsin State fairgrounds, Chippewa Falls. Race Times are 8:00am for the 1/2 Marathon and 8:30 am for the 5K. The Oz Run will help raise money to benefit the new Welcome Center at Irvine Park, as well as the Veterans Assistance Foundation and the Wisconsin Veterans Home in Chippewa Falls. The Oz Run is a 13.1 half marathon and a 5K run/walk.Dressing up is COMPLETELY encouraged, but not required but there will be prizes for the best individual costumes, as well as prizes for the best group costumes. 715-379-6640.

      4 to 7pm at Allen Park on Bridge Street downtown Chippewa Falls. Join Chippewa Falls Main Street, Happy Tails Dog Park, and Voyaging Vet & Tech Services for a Fido-friendly event! Head downtown for doggy art and activities, a microchipping clinic, vendors with dog supplies and treats, information from trainers and boarders, and more! All dogs must be leashed and licensed.Look for downtown businesses with a "Tail Waggers Welcome Here" sign for a special treat for your pup!

      Chippewa Falls Bernard F. Willi Municipal Pool

      June 6 through August 23, 2015 Chippewa Falls Bernard F. Willi Municipal Pool will be open. Located across from Irvine Park this public outdoor pool has a zero depth area with small fountains and dumping buckets for younger children and a deeper area, reaching a maximum depth of 5 feet, and a 256 ft. linear slide that empties into the pool. There is a minimal entrance fee per person to help maintain the pool. You will find it to be a great place to swim on a hot summer day. Hours: M-F 12-6, Sa/ Su 1-6pm 715-726-2733 in season.

      Irvine Park Petting Zoo

      Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day Weekend, Daily 10am-6pm. The Petting Zoo has a variety of friendly farm animals including: pigs, goats, sheep, donkeys, rabbits, baby chicks, a pony, and an iguana. Kids are invited to explore the Petting Zoo and learn about the animals through touch and play. Admission to the petting zoo is free but donations are appreciated.Irvine Park summer hours will be 7:00am to dark. Irvine Park offers a variety of activities and sports for people of all ages. There are horseshoe pits, picnic grounds, hiking trails, playgrounds, bird watching, and a sand volleyball court.
