      51st Annual Spring Art Show

      12-4p, at The Heyde Center for the Arts. The Exhibit runs April 12 through April 24, 2015. The Chippewa Herald along with the Chippewa Valley Cultural Association will again be hosting the Annual Spring Arts show. Over 100 artists from the area submit two and three-dimension?al art works each year. The exhibition includes original paintings, sculptures, photos, stained glass, mosaics, ceramics, other creative art forms, demonstrations, and cash awards. There is no charge to the public for this exhibit, but donations are appreciated to help keep this exceptional gallery space available to the community.

      Downtown Earth Day Clean-up

      9 a.m. - Noon. Meet at Harmony Courtyard (200 block of N. Bridge St.). Join Chippewa Falls Main Street and over 150 of our awesome volunteers as we clean up our downtown! We pick up trash all the way from the riverfront to Cedar Street, so we need and appreciate all the help we can get at the Downtown Earth Day Cleanup. All supplies will be provided for the cleanup. All volunteers recieve a free collapsible water bottle.

      June 6 through August 23, 2015 Chippewa Falls Bernard F. Willi Municipal Pool will be open. Located across from Irvine Park this public outdoor pool has a zero depth area with small fountains and dumping buckets for younger children and a deeper area, reaching a maximum depth of 5 feet, and a 256 ft. linear slide that empties into the pool. There is a minimal entrance fee per person to help maintain the pool. You will find it to be a great place to swim on a hot summer day. Hours: M-F 12-6, Sa/ Su 1-6pm 715-726-2733 in season.

      Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day Weekend, Daily 10am-6pm. The Petting Zoo has a variety of friendly farm animals including: pigs, goats, sheep, donkeys, rabbits, baby chicks, a pony, and an iguana.
