      6:00 pm and 7:30 pm. At Beaver Creek Reserve, Wise Nature Center, S1 Cty Road K, Fall Creek. Spend a winter evening on snowshoes trekking through the Reserve by candlelight. Refreshments and a warm fire will be available after each hike.

      Dog Sledding and Snowshoeing at the Henke Farm

      1:00 pm at Beaver Creek Reserve, Wise Nature Center, S1 Cty Road K, Fall Creek.Come out to our satellite property, the Henke Farm, and join a group of fellow dog mushing enthusiasts. You can stay warm by the fire sipping on soup or a steaming cup of hot chocolate or, if you re not ready to sit down then strap on a pair of snowshoes and do some more winter exploration as you wait for a turn with the dog team and guide, Howard Thompson.  The sled can accommodate two adult riders, or one adult and two small children, with a choice to sit or stand. Registration and full payment required by Feb. 9. Friends $75 per sled trip          Nonmembers $85 per time slot.

      One World Taiko

      from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m at The Heyde Center for the Arts. One World Taiko is a professional Japanese drum ensemble that incorporates dynamic movement, lyrical melodies, and rhythmic grooves with heart-pounding percussion. “Taiko” means "drum" in Japanese, and Taiko drummers perform on drums ranging from the large odaiko, 4 feet by 2.5 feet, to the shimedaiko, the size of a snare drum.  Admission: Adults  $9, Seniors $8, Youth $4, Family of four $22
